Demonstrations Call for Demonstrations ECDL 2009 invites researches, practitioners and industry to exhibit their latest innovative work and products in "Demonstrations". The ECDL conference series is characterized by a high standards' technical program with peer-reviewed papers, a doctoral consortium, talks by distinguished invited speakers from academia and industry, workshops, tutorials and, most importantly, lively discussions in a pleasant environment. Demonstrations will offer an opportunity to showcase relevant research prototypes, as well as industrial products, and to discuss them with an international audience of experts in Digital Libraries. Demonstrations will be delivered in the conference's "Demo area". Specifically, demonstrators will be allotted space within a dedicated area, hosting a number of demonstrations in parallel. Each demonstration will have a time slot of almost 2 hours, and the delivery format is expected to be as interactive and "hands on" as possible, with a relatively small number of visitors at a time. "Live" interactive demonstrations will be favored in the selection process. Further to the above, demonstrators will provide a short presentation on their demonstration in a session that will be scheduled to take place earlier on in the conference. The presenters will be given 2 minutes for this "announcement" (2 slides). This is intended as an opportunity to make the conference participants aware of the demonstrations available, as well as of the related schedule. In this context, ECDL 2009 is seeking interesting and engaging demonstrations under the general topics of the conference; a detailed list of these topics can be found on the conference's Call for Contributions. Submissions should be 2 pages long in PDF or Word format, following the Lecture Notes in Computer Science formatting instructions and provide the following information:
