Housing, Catering
Each academic year the Ionian University provides housing and catering to a certain number of students, according to the prerequisites determined by the Institution and its annual budget.

Students are housed in the University Hall of Residence in Corfu, as well as in certain hotels associated with the University by contract. Applications for free housing should be submitted in time during June for all students expect for new ones, who should apply upon their registration.

Free meals are offered at the University Club and at restaurants under contract. Besides, for any student, as well as for any member of the academic staff, prices at the University Club are nominal. Applications for the provision of free meals are usually submitted in October, with the exception of new students, who should apply upon their registration . Student Care:

Insurance
Medical, medicinal and hospital care is provided to students who do not have any other insurance for the period of their studies, which should not exceed seven years on the whole.

Loans – Scholarships
Student loans are granted according to the Presidential Decree 360/83.
Student scholarships are granted by the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY) based on academic performance.
Each student is given a special Card for Reduced Fares (Pass) to be used on Public Transportation Means.
